Sitting down a few weeks ago to talk with veteran actor Tom Skerritt during his visit to Chicago to attend the Chicago Critics Film Festival (an entity that I do work for) and participate in a Q&A following a 40th anniversary screening of the 1979 classic " Alien ," I found myself filled with a slight degree of apprehension.
